I am a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Economics at the University Pompeu Fabra and the Barcelona School of Economics (BSE). I am also an affiliated researcher at the Barcelona Institute of Economics (IEB) and at the Center for Regional Economic Development (CRED).

My research approaches urban and regional development using tools of the political economy and environmental economics literature.

I am particularly interested in how political incentives and climate shocks shape the spatial distribution of economic activity.
